Cyberpunk 2077 Teaser (YouTube)

Intended as a direct sequel of the pen and paper game Cyberpunk 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 looks absolutely amazing. Of course, the video above is a CGI teaser and not representative of actual gameplay, but it seems to have a lot of potential. Developed by the Polish company CD Projekt Red, the game developer has not yet announced a release date.

To understand a bit more what inspired this vision of Cyberpunk 2077, I suggest you watch this video.

Note: The teaser song is titled “Bullets” by Archive.

Stretchable Electronic Skin from Nokia Research (YouTube)

This may seem like old news now, but I found this video about a year back and found Nokia’s research pretty fascinating.
It was published online around 2010, but I’ve yet to see any real applications of this technology going mainstream.
Have a look at this short video showcasing stretchable (potentially wearable) electronic surface.

Modular Prosthetic Limb by APL (YouTube)

Shared by a friend of mine over a social network, this amazing video displays the work of APL (The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory).

Under the sponsorship of DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency), APL created this Modular Prosthetic Limb. The video displays some of the capabilities of the limb. Around 4:30 minutes in, the video showcases object manipulation.
